Description:
Our acrylic fibers are produced using monomer acrylonitrile as the major monomer (over 85%), methylacrylate or vinyl acetate as the second comonomer (less than 15%) and a third comonomer for dyability, by Solution Polymerization and Wet Spinning using SNIA technology. In both dull and semi-dull product, Titanium Dioxide (max 0.5%) is used. Also, in the process of production, the fibers are submerged in finish (finish of about 0.5%) prior to packing.
In textile industries, a major need is for a combination of different detexes of fibers to achieve optimal conditions for yarn production. Following numerous studies, to realize the customer-centeredness motto, Acrylic Plant # 02 obtained the patent and production license for these fibers. Presently production of these fibers runs in two mixes of 8.9 and 16.7 detexes of 33% and 67% and that of mixed fibers run in 8.9 and 11decitexes of 50%. The major advantages of the combination and mixing of these fibers are:
- Mixes uniformly at the beginning of production and spinning process,
- Exclusion of the probability of making mistakes in mixing each detex by customers under normal conditions and
- Improves the quality of the material, physical and chemical properties as well as uniform dyability.
It should be noted that given the technical knowhow available to us, it is possible to combine other detexes on customer’s request.

Production Process and Packaging
Consistent with SNIA technology, the production process for this product starting with the mixing of monomers as feedstock input to the reactors for polymer solution in Dimethylformamide (DMF) in the Chemical Area through to fiber production, drawing, finishing and packaging is continuous and that at each stage samplings and controls are conducted and finally the product is graded and released in accordance with the test results. Bright, dull and semi-dull products are normal products but colored, super-white and antibacterial products are customized. The product is packaged in bales weighing 350±۲۰ kg and then put in covered polypropylene jute and rod guards. The bales measure 120*110*73 mm. 21-22 tons of the product can be transported in a 40-foot container.
