Description:
Polybest fibers are acrylic fibers replacing asbestos in the preparation of concrete, asphalt, corrugated false ceiling, etc. The cut lengths of this fiber ranges from 4 to 6 mm and their physical and chemical properties differ from those of standard fibers and customized fibers are also produced. The acrylic fibers needed for these products are produced by solution polymerization, wet spinning and SNIA technology using monomer acrylonitrile as the major monomer. Production of this fiber used in industry ranges from 1.3 to 5.6 dtex and a length of 5-6 mm.
Production Process and Packaging
Consistent with SNIA technology, the production process for this product starting with the mixing of monomers as feedstock input to the reactors for polymer solution in Dimethylformamide (DMF) in the Chemical Area through to fiber production, drawing, finishing and packaging is continuous at that each stage, samplings and controls are conducted and finally the product is graded and released in accordance with the test results.
Standards and Test Methods Observed
Quality Management System Standard ISO-9001
Environmental Management Standard ISO-14000
Occupational Health and Safety Administration Standard OHSAS 18001
The product also meets product safety Standard EN ISO 17050-1 by OKO-Tex, Germany
