Description
PET-GF Engineering Composite with a high molecular weight has a wide-ranging engineering application. As PET is reinforced with glass fiber, its mechanical, electrical, thermal and chemical properties as well as environmental, tolerance, creep, thermal expansion coefficient (like aluminum and brass) and, to a very large extent, extrusion capability improve. As the proportion of glass fiber and the production method (used in the production of extrusion parts and heat-deformable plates) vary, it has a wide range of applications. Among other things, it can be used in the production of household and automobile equipment requiring a high shock absorption structure, construction elements, case coating for such equipment as printers, copiers, cartridges, agricultural equipment including mowing machines, tractor engine cover, automotive spares, material transportation facilities such as palettes, crating, household equipment such as furniture as well as electrical and electronic equipment. Thanks to its very good dielectric properties, high thermal resistance and self-extinguishing characteristics, it is being increasing used in electrical, electronic, high temperature, spark-generation environments and direct-heat applications. Among other things, reference can be made to lamp-holders, cases and electrical sockets. Polynite is produced from polyester polymer compound combined with special-purpose glass fibers and other additives supplied in two versions: extrusion and compressive. The physical and chemical characteristics measured for the product are draw, bend, impact, pressure, MFI-IV and proportion of glass fibers.
